Built shortly after Vancouver’s Great Fire of 1886, the J.W. Horne block is one of Vancouver’s oldest surviving buildings. A curios store was located here from 1973 to 2018. It stocked an intriguing mix of antiques and novelty items. Adding to its beguiling atmosphere was the fact that it was (and perhaps still is) haunted by many spirits.
